Business Development Executive -Shanghai 

Overview：

We are looking for a hardworking, results driven and confident team member with a strong sales background to join our ever-expanding Business Development team in Singapore. Having an excellent phone and personal manner is a necessity. A clear understanding of Chinese business practice is also key. 

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work well under pressure, problem solve, and be confident communicating with team members and management. There will be an opportunity as the role progresses to travel at home and abroad.

Responsibilities：

Identifying new business and generating sales of VV products

Managing all aspects of the Sales process from liaising with the marketing and PR team on fully trackable campaigns, to having your own lead generation team to finding new prospects and negotiating new deals and partnerships

The candidate would be expected to have previous experience of sales, preferably B2B

Attending industry events and generating leads through networking

Key skills required：

Must be fluent in written and spoken business English and Mandarin

Proven track record of sales in China, preferably in the shipping industry, but not essential

Strong communication skills (listening, questioning, written, verbal) and organisational skill

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Excellent attention to detai

Able to work both independently and in collaboration with multiple teams

Previous experience with Salesforce (preferable)

Confident at cold callin

Knowledge / experience of the maritime sector is desirable but not essential

Willingness to travel
